INTELLECTUAL HISTORY: Q. SKINNER’S CONTEXTUALISM

چکیده

Критически рассматривая методологию интеллектуальной истории, выражаемую в двух основных подходах – текстуализме и контекстуализме Скиннер предлагает иную возможную стратегию, именуемую лингвистическим контекстуализмом. Подобный подход подразумевает, что тексты могут быть правильно поняты истолкованы только при изучении намерений автора посредством анализа лингвистического контекста. Critically considering the methodology of intellectual history, expressed in two main approaches textualism and contextualism, Skinner introduces another possible for this discipline, called linguistic contextualism. Such a strategy implies that texts can only be correctly understood interpreted by examining intentions author through analysis context.
